Hey y'all! Thanks SO much for your comments and congratulations - I haven't even read them all yet! It's been a CRAZY ass month. No, seriously! I knew I felt strange...it was going on since I got home from the hospital (which was strange in itself if you read about that experience...). I had been to the doctor two times since I got home, but it seemed no one believed me. It was always, "oh, it's just normal postpartum stuff, bs..." The doctor kept giving me random antibiotics, not even knowing exactly what was wrong with me really...and then it happened.

I totally missed Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, I was put back into the hospital! After five more days there (and missing four days of Jesse's life already!), a few more different antibiotics and severe allergic reactions (during all of which I never stopped getting IV Gentamicin), I ended up getting out last Monday and coming home with a prescription of synthetic antibiotics that my insurance didn't want to pay for and no pharmacy had (until the next day). Yay. It makes me really sick and dizzy and I've had basically a perpetual migraine, but it's apparently the last choice and last resort. I go back to the doctor today and will probably end up with another bottle of pills because I'm still sick and hurting down there... I'm SO READY to be WELL!!

So that's an update on what's going on with us. Jesse is doing great - had his first real appt. on Friday and now weighs 8lbs 13oz and is 20.5in long...he's a pretty good baby, all things being equal...

Update to the update: I am doing much better, all well except for a bought of Candida and a urinary tract yeast infection (I know, weird) that won't seem to go away. Trying to stick to a modest candida diet and going to doctor in one week if new medicine doesn't do the job - also consulting an herbalist. Feel good except for that annoying, random pain and related sore throat. Having a great holiday week so far, and wishing the same for you!! :End Update

It seems that the holidays are already upon us again - I can't believe this year is almost over. Around April and June, I thought it would never end (pregnancy was not exactly kind to me!). LOL Nonetheless, love, peace, and happiness to everyone! We you all!
